OS Guidelines

The illustrations in this guideline are given to help in the area of discerning the contenders belief system and to help lead them to a path of freedom. It is important to remember that discernment grows through understanding of Truth and the practice of that Truth.

  • For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use[G1828: a habit, power acquired by custom] have their senses [G145: faculty of the mind for perceiving, understanding, judging] exercised [G1128: to exercise vigorously] to discern both good and evil. Heb 5:12-14
  • But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Jam 1:6-8
